why should I consider legal coaching? If you are facing a family law issue, but cannot afford to pay a traditional retainer fee, legal coaching may be the answer. If you have to represent yourself in a matter (what the TN legal community calls pro se), you need to be as prepared as possible. During a legal coaching session, I can answer questions, explain the court process and prepare you for the unknown. Instead of spending days or hours trying to do all the research on your own, I can give you information in less than 45 minutes.
Through legal coaching, I can provide information the following legal topics:
- child support
- adoption, including termination of parental rights
- juvenile delinquencies
- forms and court procedures
- how to file documents and filing fees
- resources for drafting documents, including answers, petitions, motions, and the like
- development of case strategy
- discovery documents
- court hearing preparation
For legal coaching sessions, I only charge a $150 flat fee. It would help if you have questions prepared for me to make the most value out of your session.
Just as an FYI, it is always best to hire an attorney in a family case, especially if the other side has one. You will have to sign off on a form with me to acknowledge that the legal coaching is not the same thing as legal advice and the consult does not create an attorney/client relationship.
